Criteria: This award recognises innovation in the creation of inspiring spaces that help to promote different and new ways of learning/teaching and that can be easily replicated across the education estate.

Criteria: This award recognises a learning establishment which has undertaken a building project that significantly improves the experience of pupils/students.
Innovation in Delivering Value in Design
Criteria: This award recognises innovation that has helped contribute to value in the design of learning spaces. What is meant by value? Monetary or a better experience or something else?
Project of the Year – Primary Education & Post Primary Education
Criteria: This award recognises the project team that has successfully delivered either a primary education or post primary education school new build or refurbishment. Entries must clearly state who the client was, the architect(s) and contractor(s) involved and the wider project team.

Criteria: This award recognises the project team that has successfully delivered either a further education and training or higher education new build or refurbishment. Entries must clearly state who the client was, the architect(s) and contractor(s) involved and the wider project team.

Criteria: This award recognises an educational institution (primary education, post primary education school, further education and training or higher education) that has used its building asset in a way that delivers a different and innovative way of teaching and learning. Please explain how the innovation has made a positive impact.

Innovation in Delivering a Sustainable Education Facility
Criteria: This award recognises innovation that has helped to deliver a sustainable education facility that promotes sustainable practises and behaviours by all users. This could be in relation to a new build facility or an adaptation.
