Session 6: Healthy Ireland
Time: 14:00 - 15:00
An Education that exposes the fullness of our potential.
Education is never learning and repetition:
True education engages the whole person allowing the student to grow in every aspect of their being so as to maximise their potential;
Real education teaches them more than numbers and letters, it presents to them their limitless personal possibilities.
How is it, then, that we use space, time, sport and learning to make education the servant of this pursuit for each of our students.
This session will explore the benefits of an entire campus thinking to the design and delivery of educational spaces: outside the classroom can teach us who we are, what we can become, and the importance of numbers and letters..
During this session each of the speakers, from their backgrounds in academics and sport, will address the importance of thinking differently about the priorities of delivery in educational spaces. Start outside and the inside will build itself.
