Biography

Tom Grey Dip.Arch.B.Arch.Sci.March.

Tom holds a degree in architecture from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a Masters in architecture (Sustainability of the Built Environment) from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Following 10 years in practice working on projects in Ireland, the UK, Europe, the US and NZ, Tom joined TrinityHaus Research Centre, Trinity College Dublin in 2009. Tom’s work in TrinityHaus involves diverse people-centred projects at the intersection of architectural design, urbanism, universal design, and co-creation. Focussing on the role of the built environment across key spatial scales, his research examines how design, design processes, and universal design can support inclusion, health, and well-being throughout the life course.
