Emily Power is an architect in the Planning and Building Unit in the Department of Education and Youth. Emily has significant experience in the delivery of a range of school  buildings with particular focus on SEN accommodation and Special Schools. She works with school buildingsncil for Special Education and individual schools to deliver projects for urgent new school places for pupils with additional needs. Emily has developed design guidance for the department for Special Education and SEN Reconfiguration to promote and assist schools and design teams to deliver inclusive schools. She is passionate about universal design and inclusive education.
