Georgina Molloy is programme manager for energy performance of buildings directive (EPBD) concerted action with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). She is the core team leader of one of the eight teams that lead EPBD concerted action at EU level. The Concerted Action EPBD project aims to contribute to the reduction of energy use in European buildings, through the exchange of knowledge and best practices in the field of energy efficiency and energy savings between the 27 EU Member States and Norway. Georgina’s team leads on the topics of building codes and technical requirements. She is a programme manager within the technical team at SEAI that are leading projects for the implementation of the EPBD in Ireland. She is a chartered engineer with over 20 years' experience in design consultancy, contracting and in the public sector.
