Murty is the Principal Officer responsible for Forward Planning and Site Acquisitions Section in the Department of Education and Youth. The primary function of Forward Planning is to analyse demographic & enrolment trends in order to anticipate future demand for school places and to input into the local authority statutory planning process. The section is also responsible for the identification, assessment & acquisitions of new schools’ site for the School Building Programme.
