Padraig Boland is the FET Manager with Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB), with specific responsibility for the strategic development and delivery of the National MMC Demonstration Park. A member of the Midland Regional Transition Team and chair of the Working Group for Employment Continuity Pathways, Padraig focuses on driving sustainable regional development through cutting-edge skills training.

He focuses on the delivery of specialised, hands-on training programmes in advanced building systems—including the Installation and Assembly of Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), Timber Frame, and Light Gauge Steel (LGS). Dedicated to future-proofing the sector, Padraig also spearheads initiatives aimed at accelerating the digitisation of construction and the positive, practical integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into modern workflows.

Working closely with LOETB colleagues and key strategic partners, he ensures these high-tech upskilling and reskilling pathways directly empower the enterprises, communities, and individuals navigating the transition away from peat extraction and traditional construction industries.
