Lidan Designs is an Irish Sustainable Modular Construction Off-Site company
Lidan provide a turnkey solution from Design, Manufacture and Installation of buildings ranging from Schools, Houses, Offices and Extensions.
Lidan’s buildings are manufactured entirely off-site in Roscommon and entirely from Sustainable materials. Lidan’s buildings are recognised as some of the most sustainable buildings ever built in Ireland and already can surpass Net Zero. Lidan achieved the lowest Embodied Carbon number ever recorded for a building in Ireland back in 2021, which was less than half the RIAI 2030 Carbon target
All of Lidan’s building are Near Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB) and while all bespoke can still achieve BER ratings of ‘A1’ and are at a Passive level. In additional the operational energy requirements of Lidan’s buildings are significantly less than other solutions giving large savings in day-to-day energy costs.
Lidan’s current clients include the Department of Education, Fingal County Council, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and The Office of Public Works.
Lidan are heavily focused on Innovation in terms of structural engineering, sustainable solutions and design. This was reflected in winning at The National Enterprise Awards for achievements in ‘Innovation & Sustainability’ in 2021. In 2023 Lidan will open its new facility in Roscommon, currently under construction, built in Mass Timber in order to meet the large increase in demand for their buildings.
